Lego Duplo Big City Zoo RRP £59.99

Is there anyone who isn’t a fan of Duplo?  It’s easy for little fingers to handle, hard for little mouths to swallow, and it doesn’t hurt as much as little Lego bricks when you step on it in bare feet.  We have lots of Duplo already but it’s always good to add to the collection, and the Big City Zoo is a real winner.  With twelve different animals there is plenty to keep children occupied as they set up zoo enclosures and show the visitors around.  The zoo-keeper even comes with his own wheelbarrow and fork, ready to muck out the elephant house.

Two year old Jenson reviewed this for me and didn’t have a bad word to say about it.   His parents felt the instructions were easy to follow but wondered why the box had to contain so many individual plastic bags – the unnecessary packaging took far too long to unpack.  We discussed the price as a group and whilst all the parents agreed it was a lot of money, no-one felt it was unreasonably priced.  Duplo lasts forever and is such a versatile toy that we all felt you’d be getting value for money from the City Zoo.
